Weightlifting (often referred to as “Olympic Weightlifting” due to its inclusion in the Summer Olympics) includes the snatch and the clean & jerk. In competition, the snatch and the clean & jerk are performed at maximum effort in the attempt to accumulate the highest possible combined total weight of both lifts.
Club practices are held Monday-Friday at 5pm at Fit Factory Strength & Conditioning in San Marcos. All training is structured and overseen by Head Coach DJ Bray along with our assistant coaches to provide developmental instruction and guidance for the preparation for competitions throughout the year.
Our goal is not only to teach the foundations of skill and technique but also to foster a culture of hard work, dedication, and competitive excellence in the sport of weightlifting.
