  Don't see “Rec Sports” in your fee statement? You can join as a “Continuing Student”!

  • $23.50 per month

  Or not taking classes this semester? You qualify if:

  • You took classes in Spring 2026 but
  • Are not enrolled in Summer 2026 and
  • Will return in Fall 2026.
  • Just bring proof of next enrollment when purchasing

• Faculty & Staff

  • $26.25 per month

• Retired Faculty & Staff

  • $26.25 per month

  Upon retirement from TXST, complimentary parking is available through Parking Services.

  Faculty/Staff IDs remain active after retirement. The system typically updates to retired status about a week after your last day of employment. Once updated, you can visit Auxiliary Services to exchange your current card for a “retired” ID card. They can replace lost IDs for $20 and update your photo if you'd like.

• Spouse

  • $32.50 per month

• Dependents

  • $37.50 per month
  • Pick the membership length that works for you—anywhere from one to twelve months

  A dependent is someone who lives in your household, support financially, and meets IRS criteria to be claimed on your tax return. They must be either a qualifying child (like your son or daughter) or a qualifying relative (like a parent or sibling) and must meet specific tests for relationship, income, residency, and support.

• Guests

  Current members can sponsor up to three Guests per visit. Guests must bring a photo ID and sign a waiver.

• Payroll Deduction (for eligible Faculty & Staff)

  How to Start

  • Fill out the Start Payroll Deduction Form.
  • The 10th of each month is the cutoff date for payroll deduction enrollment.
  • Sign up by the 10th and deduction starts next month.
  • Sign up after the 10th and deduction starts one month later.

  Examples:

  • Sign up September 9 → First deduction appears on your October 1 paycheck.
  • Sign up September 10 → First deduction appears on your October 1 paycheck.
  • Sign up September 11 → First deduction appears on your November 1 paycheck.

   

  How to Stop

  • Submit the Stop Payroll Deduction Form by the 10th to avoid another charge.
  • Your membership stays active through the end of your last paid month.

  Important:

  • Payroll deductions can’t be canceled retroactively. For example, to stop a charge on your October 1 paycheck, we must receive your request by 5 p.m. on September 10.
