  Or not taking classes this semester? You qualify if:

  • You took classes in Summer 2025 but
  • Are not enrolled in Fall 2025 and
  • Will return in Spring 2026.

• Retired Faculty & Staff

  Upon retirement from TXST, complimentary parking is available through Parking Services.

  Faculty/Staff IDs remain active after retirement. The system typically updates to retired status about a week after your last day of employment. Once updated, you can visit Auxiliary Services to exchange your current card for a “retired” ID card. They can replace lost IDs for $20 and update your photo if you'd like.

• Spouse

• Dependents

  • $37.50 per month

  A dependent is someone who lives in your household, support financially, and meets IRS criteria to be claimed on your tax return. They must be either a qualifying child (like your son or daughter) or a qualifying relative (like a parent or sibling) and must meet specific tests for relationship, income, residency, and support.

• Guests

  Current members can sponsor up to three Guests per visit. Guests must bring a photo ID and sign a waiver.

• Payroll Deduction (for eligible Faculty & Staff)

  How to Start

  • Fill out the Start Payroll Deduction Form.
  • Sign up by the 10th of the month to pay a prorated amount for the current month.
  • Sign up after the 10th? No worries — your first payment will cover both the current and next month to align with payroll processing.

  Examples:

  • Sign up on September 9 → First deduction appears on your October 1 paycheck.
  • Sign up on September 11 → First deduction appears on your November 1 paycheck (covers Sept + Oct).

   

  How to Stop

  • Submit the Stop Payroll Deduction Form by the 10th to avoid another charge.
  • Your membership stays active through the end of your last paid month.

  Important:

  • Payroll deductions can’t be canceled retroactively. For example, to stop a charge on your October 1 paycheck, we must receive your request by 5 p.m. on September 10.

• FY26 Human Resources Subsidy

  Human Resources will continue to offer a subsidy to help reduce your out-of-pocket cost for FY26. Faculty with a nine- or twelve-month appointment and staff employed at 50% FTE or more are eligible. The FY26 subsidy is available while funds last and only applies within FY26. Once funds are exhausted, memberships will revert to the full monthly rate of $26.25.

  • Subsidy: $5 per month
  • Subsidized rate: $21.25 per month (subsidy applied at point of sale)
