Sewell Park

General Information

Sewell Park resides just below the headwaters of the spring-fed, crystal clear San Marcos River, and remains 72-degrees year round. You can relax outdoors while taking advantage of two sand volleyball courts, open spaces for informal recreation, an outdoor basketball court, and numerous picnic spots great for relaxing and eating a meal. The park also offers ample open space for sunbathing, and picnicking. You'll also find the Outdoor Center here, nestled under the trees.

Hot Day Deal: Tubes just $3 when it’s 100°F or hotter!

Early Bird Special: Rent any watercraft (except tubes) before noon and get 50% off.

Extended Break Specials (Spring Break & Thanksgiving):
Rent for the whole break, pay only the 2-night rate!

  • Pick up 1–2 days before break
  • First-come, first-served (no reservations)
  • Return the day after break—late fees apply

Off-Season Special: From Nov 1 to Spring Break, all weekday watercraft rentals (except tubes) are half-price.
