Private group fitness classes can be a great way to build community amongst your friends/organization, relieve stress, and have some fun!

Our certified Group Fitness Instructors can create customized private fitness classes in a variety of formats—either at the Student Recreation Center (Onsite) or at your location on the Texas State campus (Offsite).
Onsite Classes (Student Recreation Center)
- Ab/Core – Max 40 participants
- Strength/Toning – Max 40 participants
- HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) – Max 20 participants
- Indoor Cycling – Max 26 participants
- Pilates – Max 40 participants
- Yoga – Max 40 participants
- Stretching/Foam Rolling - Max 20 participants
Offsite Classes (Your Campus Location)
- Ab/Core – Max 30 participants
- Strength/Toning – Max 20 participants
- HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) – Max 20 participants
- Pilates – Max 30 participants
- Yoga – Max 30 participants
Important Information
Equipment: Mats and equipment are not provided for offsite classes. Participants should bring their own mats for Pilates, Yoga, or Ab/Core classes.
Audio/Setup: Advanced notice is required if SRC provides audio or other equipment. In some cases, a site assessment may be needed to ensure the space is suitable.
What to Bring: Water bottle, towel, proper exercise attire, and closed-toe athletic shoes.
Scheduling: Requests should be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance for best availability.
Pricing
- Onsite (SRC): $50 per class
- Offsite (on Texas State campus): $65 per class
Pricing is based on a one-hour program for up to the listed participant maximums above. Additional fees apply for:
- Over capacity: $5 per person
- Extended time: $15 per additional hour
