Safety Policies
- Parents/Guardians must be available to take children to the restroom, therefore, they CANNOT utilize the SRC to workout, regardless of membership.
- Children cannot be left unsupervised in any area of the SRC at any time.
- Change diapers in a locker room; never on deck as doing so is against state law.
- Our certified instructors have the ultimate discretion on which class level is best for a client and have the right to switch a child into a higher or lower level class since placing children in levels not appropriate for their ability is a safety issue.
- Risk Releases and Medical Authorization Forms are required by the University. All participants must have the forms signed by a parent or guardian by the first day of lessons.
- Any blow up toys or floaties are not allowed.
- Wash your child thoroughly (especially the rear end) with soap and water before swimming
- Never swim or allow your child to swim with diarrhea. You can spread germs in the water and make others sick.
- Swim diapers are required for all children who are not yet potty trained.
